April is Student Employment Month in Washington State. What better way to start the celebration than by nominating a student employee from your institution for the Washington State Student Employee of the Year Award?
Nomination Check List:

Review the Student Employee of the Year announcement and nomination form |
|
Notify your on-campus and off-campus employers about the opportunity to nominate their outstanding students for the award. |
|
Set a nomination deadline such that your selection committee has time to meet the WSASEA deadline of March 28, 2008. |
|
Select your campus winner who will become your WSASEA finalist. A rating tool is available to help organize your review process. |
|
Have the your campus winner finalist write a narrative (200 word maximum) addressing the following question: |

Report your institution’s finalist to WSASEA using the Institutional Report Form. Include the nominator narrative and student nominee narrative. |
|
WSASEA will select a State winner to be announced at the WSASEA Spring Conference on April 28-30, 2008 at Rainbow Lodge, in North Bend, WA. |
The student selected as Student Employee of the Year will receive an attractive certificate, a letter from the WSASEA Executive Board to add to his or her resume, and a $100 U.S. Savings Bond!
