WSASEA will accept nominations for 2011 early next spring!
April is Student Employment Month in Washington State! What better way to start the celebration than by nominating a student employee from your institution for the Washington State Student Employee of the Year Award?
Here are the tools you need to participate:
Nomination Procedure Checklist:
Review the Student Employee of the Year announcement and nomination form |
Notify your on-campus and off-campus employers about the opportunity to nominate their outstanding students for the award. |
Set a nomination deadline such that your selection committee has time to meet the WSASEA deadline. |
Select your campus winner who will become your WSASEA finalist. A rating tool is available to help organize your review process. |
NOTE: A student statement is no longer required! |
Report your institution’s finalist to WSASEA using the Institutional Report Form. Include the nominator narrative and any other supporting documents. |
WSASEA will select a State winner to be announced at the WSASEA Spring Conference on May 16-18, 2011 at Rainbow Lodge, in North Bend, WA. |
The student selected as Student Employee of the Year will receive an attractive certificate, a letter from the WSASEA Executive Board to add to his or her resume, and a $150 cash prize! The first and second runners-up each receive a congratulatory letter and $25 cash prize!
