The President-Elect will do the following:
Per Article III of the WSASEA By-Laws, the duties of the President-Elect are:
"The President-Elect" shall serve as historian of the Association." The President-Elect will serve as President of the Association in the year FOLLOWING their year as President-Elect, and as Past-President in the third year of service.

The official duty of the President-Elect is to serve as historian of the Association. By serving as historian, the President-Elect will become acquainted with the history of the Association, and the past and present goals and objectives of WSASEA. The historian will be charged with preserving the history of the Association by reviewing all prior year accomplishments of, and events held by, the Association-and organizing/assembling this information in a format that is easy to follow by all members who wish to review it. The historian will also be charged with keeping a running log of current year activities of the Board, memos sent to members, etc.

July
Assume the office of President-Elect on July 1.

August
Attend the meeting of incoming and outgoing Executive Board members.

October
Attend Town Meeting.

January
Assist Past-President with implementing Student Employee of the Year process.
Attend Spring Conference planning meeting.

April/May
Attend Spring Conference.

May
Gather and archive previous year's materials.

July
Assume the office of President on July 1 (see President's job description).
