Nominations usually accepted through March-April each year

Deadline for 2008 nominations: March 28, 2008!

Administrators or supervisors at member institutions can nominate outstanding student employees for the Student Employee of the Year Competition.  The WSASEA Executive Board selects the WSASEA winner.

Important note: This is separate from the regional/national competition, and normally occurs after the regional deadline. The Western Association of Student Employment Administrators (WASEA) also selects a regional winner from nominees from member schools.  Regional winners compete for the national award, which is presented at the (NSEA) conference each fall.

It is possible for a school to nominate their campus winner for both the state (WSASEA) and the regional (WASEA) competitions, providing deadlines are met. The WASEA deadline is much earlier than WSASEA, around the end of February. WSASEA's deadline is typically around the end of March. You must submit your nominee separately to each organization. WSASEA will NOT forward your nomination to any other organization.
