Town Meeting Invitation
Dear Student Employment Administrator:
You are cordially invited to attend the annual Fall 2011 WSASEA Town Meeting!
Please mark your calendars for Friday, November 4, 2011. Our meeting will be held at Central Washington University in the Mary Grupe Center, with arrival and networking beginning at 9:00am and the meeting from 10:00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m. Please see the agenda below for all the details.
Free parking is available for attendees, courtesy of CWU Parking Services. Be sure to stop at the Wildcat Welcome Center and tell the attendant you are here for the WSASEA Student Employment meeting. You will be directed to the parking area and provided with a courtesy parking pass. Driving directions to CWU.
To warm up the morning, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate will be provided, along with an assortment of fruit and muffins. A hosted lunch is also provided - we will go as a group to the Holmes Dining Center in the CWU Student Union Building for lunch so that we can all have an opportunity to network with colleagues from across the state!
We will have an update session with the Higher Education Coordinating Board as well as a JLD workshop to share ideas with colleagues from around the state. Remember, if your school has a Federal Work Study JLD program, you can use JLD funds for travel to the meeting. I would also like to solicit any suggestions you may have for topics to discuss during our roundtable session, your input is greatly appreciated!

1:45-3:00: Roundtable discussion - Possible topics include: How are coping mechanisms working out, how are schools coping with reduced allocations, adjustments made for the rise in the minimum wage, changes to the awarding process, JLD best practices.
